TANYA EDWARDS

Managing Director


Tanya Edwards is the managing director of Wollongong Strata. She has been in the property industry for over 25 years in Wollongong. She also has 16 years of experience in local Strata industry having been licensee in charge of a Wollongong branch of a Sydney Strata Management company for eight years.


Born in Wollongong Hospital, Tanya is a genuine local and a proud Wiradjuri woman being a direct Descendent of Diana Mudgee.


Earning her Real Estate Diploma was just a formality though, as Tanya had a real passion for people and property from a young age.


While still studying for her diploma, she started in the late 1990s as a Property Manager. She quickly progressed into sales. Then in 2005, she went into partnership and purchased her own real estate franchise. After selling the franchise in 2008, she studied Property Law at university She was going to move into conveyancing and was interested in the aspects of property law related to purchase and sale.


Whilst she was still studying Tanya was offered a job in Strata Management in Sydney. She took the position as she hadn’t yet dabbled in Strata Management. She loved it so much that she left her degree to obtain her Strata Managing Agents License, in addition to her existing Real Estate agents license and Business Agents License.


Back then, Tanya was working with a large Sydney Strata Management firm who offered her the opportunity to open and establish their first branch outside Sydney. She jumped at the chance and founded (Netstrata) Wollongong in April 2011.


After eight years, she decided to leave and follow her own dreams and has now opened Wollongong Strata. She is extremely proud to service the Strata community of Wollongong with the utmost expertise that Wollongong deserves.

PATRICIA

Accounts


Patricia is currently working as an Accounts assistant, she looks after all aspects of accounts including data entry of invoices, S184 certificates, enquires regarding levies, and financial statements, Patricia has recently completed her Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accountancy at the University of Wollongong and Registration in Strata Community Management.


Patricia is truly an asset to Wollongong Strata.


Outside of work she enjoys teaching children every Saturday morning and watching movies or dramas.

STEPHANIE

Strata Management


Stephanie has been in the Strata Management Industry for over 10 years and is a licenced stratum managing agent and real estate agent, Stephanie started as a trainee strata manager and now a senior manager, she has managed all types of buildings including residential, commercial, industrial, BMC’s and mixed-use schemes from 2 lots to 300 lots.


Stephanie currently shares Tanya's portfolio as she works part time after returning to work from maternity leave, she is also responsible to assist other managers and admin staff in the office to ensure a professional service is provided to all our clients.

CEILIDH

Strata Management


Ceilidh is one of the first employees to work for Wollongong Strata.


Starting as an administration assistant, Ceilidh has worked her way up to be a licensed Strata Managing Agent and now manages her own portfolio of buildings which has enabled her to gain a broad set of skills and experience in a range of areas.


Ceilidh has been responsible for creating in office procedures, assisting and training other staff which ensures all employees offer a high standard of service to our owners corporations.

CALIA

Strata Management


Calia has been in the Real Estate industry with 10 years experience and has a passion to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction. Starting as a receptionist in 2013 slowly working her way up into Property Management. Calia quickly worked on goals of becoming a Licensed Real Estate Agent. After completing a certificate 3 & Diploma in Tourism & Certificate 2 & 3 in Retail Management.


Calia’s enthusiasm and genuine care are the perfect complements to her. Her positive attitude and attention to detail always ensures that every client relationship is friendly and professional, and that they get the best service available.


Calia is currently working towards completing her Certificate IV in Strata Community Management.to become a fully licensed Strata Managing Agent.

SHANNAN

Accounts Manager


Shannan is well equipped with experience and knowledge in various areas, including accounting, IT and problem solving.


Shannan oversees all of the day to day client trust accounts including liaising with external auditors and solicitors, assisting clients with queries and is responsible for the transition of all new accounts.

KYLIE

Admin and Fire Compliance


Kylie has been in the Strata Administration Industry for over 5 years. Kylie has worked in all aspects of administration from reception to compliance.


Kylie is currently responsible fire compliance, insurance claims, lift contract renewals, assisting and training administration staff.


When she’s not in the office she spends her time with her family including two young children and as a registered marriage celebrant she spends weekends officiating weddings.

MORGAN

Receptionist & Trainee Strata Manager


Morgan is currently working as a receptionist; she looks after various clerical duties whilst pursuing a Certificate IV in Strata Management to become a licensed Strata Managing Agent. In addition to her commitment to strata management, she is simultaneously working towards completing her Certificate IV in New Business and Entrepreneurship and Certificate III in Events, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in various fields.


With her welcoming demeanour and multifaceted skill set, Morgan is looking forward to the opportunities that will come her way while at Wollongong Strata.
